SAP FI/CO IT Leader New Brunswick, NJ
Our client, a Fortune 500 Company is seeking an SAP Finance & Controlling IT Leader who will support SAP finance & controlling modules with in-depth knowledge of SAP functionality. This individual will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of an SAP FICO solution-delivery of project deliverables including blue-prints, functional and technical specifications, system configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience in design and configuration of SAP FICO modules.
Strong knowledge in General ledger accounting (Classic & new GL), Accounts receivables & payables, Asset accounting using investment management, Banking & cash management, lease accounting (CLM) and project systems.
Strong exposure in Controlling module which includes cost center accounting, COPA (Profitability analysis) CO-PC (Product costing) CO-ML (Material Ledger and Actual costing) , Profit center accounting.
Working knowledge on inventory valuations using FIFO and LIFO methodology, NRV valuations, transfer prices.
Must be well versed in financial closing & consolidation
Requires Strong background in SOX and other compliance methodologies
Experience in using BW & ECC queries for financial reporting
Coordinate and work with ABAP team in developing the custom business requirements.
Experience in Executing software projects in different business sectors.
Research new process enhancements and technologies to determine fit with the business architecture.
SAP Finance FI CO Experience in at least one full life cycle S4HANA implementation is extremely preferable
Must be passionate about SAP innovation and delivery of the latest technologies
Understanding of S4 HANA processes is mandatory and S4 HANA certification is preferred in SAP Finance and Accounting.
Knowledge of SAP central finance is a plus
Essential Skills and Requirements:
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree in related field
Minimum Years of Experience: 10+ years of related experience with SAP ECC 6.0 or SAP S/4 HANA ERP systems or other relative system experience. o Minimum of 5 years of experience leading blueprint workshops and providing training and user support in SAP
Must have four full lifecycles SAP implementation experience
Must be results-oriented, and demonstrate a can-do attitude adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
Willingness to provide off-hours support as the job requires
